Playing for Charity
Over the years, I have found the most fun just playing a round of golf with a few friends on behalf of charity. Sometimes I have made a new friend in the selection process. For the most part, it is not about the score or the placement, but the comraderie. I hope that you and your friends enjoy this type of tournament as much as I do. Tour Trip of a Lifetime
Some would say that you could drop the "l" and add an "o" to what I like and that would make me a "goofer". In my mind I am a golfer...just wish I could get it to through the green. In any case, I love to play and really love to play with those who enjoy the game. Having never destroyed a club after a stroke, I find it to be a bit more soothing to ask, "what can I do to fix that". Some have said quit. But I am not cut out of that plaid. Actually, this was taken at Machrihanish Dunes. An amazing walk over 7 miles from start to finish over some beautiful sand dunes. Great day out with the flight over from Glasgow. Some great scenery on the way.

Check out the Shirley Association website. This was done by a lady whom I've met and I've gone to one of the "reunions" that she holds occasionally around the country. Might get some interesting Shirley facts.
