Got in with Kingwood Cove GC and their Players Development Program. Played Monday. Second time on any course. Shot a 53 on the front 9. Had some good shots, just didn't have the distance on my clubs. I am sure with work that will change.

Wondering which course you all think will drain the quickest and be playable [ no 90 degree rule ] after these downpours go away

Randy:

I would strongly recommend you play either River Ridge just outside of Houston off I-10 or Oakhurst Golf Club off 59 North about 20 miles north of the city,

Memorial is a good track, but most of the time it's a long wait..maybe days.

I like River Ridge because its not surrounded by homes and is a truly peaceful place to play. Never any rush here....[ very few females on the course ]

Hi everyone. I'm headed to Houston later this month and wanted to know about Munis in the area. If you only had one Muni in Houston to play on, what would it be? I've heard Memorial Park is good. Any thoughts?

Played The Old Brickyard in Ferris, Tx a week ago. Loved it! Wild elevation changes, extremely challenging holes, wind hazard. Some holes you can't see the hole from the tee due to the hilly nature of the course. The 8th is a tee box, a BIG gully, and the green. can't wait till next year to play there again.
