Patricia, don't feel bad, I just started golfing at the age of 61 and love it.

Coming up for my annual Michigan trip from AZ. Get out of the heat (109f) and come up there. From the looks of it, not much relief. Anyhow, I will venture once again in and around Southwest Michigan. Looking to fly in early August for 7days. With all the rain and humidity up there, I am not looking forward to the mosquitos. I don't miss them things 1 bit since moving here to AZ. Wish me safe and happy trails, and see you around the dog-legs..

Does anyone know of any golf courses in Lebanon, TN?

Well Spring is here on the UP. Come on UP and play Greywalls in Marquette. Number 2 in Michigan and 74 in the country now. The fairways are like carpets and the greens are fast and slick. We also have a great stay and play package with Sweetgrass in Escanaba and Timberstone in Iron Mountain. You can also include Wild Bluff in Brimley on your way over from the Big Mac.

Hello Michigan golfers. Looking for something to do that's golf-related until the snow melts ? Check out the following link. This will be a free application for the i-phone. It's still in the planning stages and they could use your help by mapping out your favorite or local golf course. In return, you will be eligible for a weekly cash prize and the grand prize golf trip for 4..... http://www.caddytracker.com/users/referral/94

Nov. 15th-opening day of whitetail firearm season, I got my buck by 8:00,..and played a round at Crystal Lake G.C. in Beulah in the afternoon. Can it get any better than that ??...lol...Benzie county is a golf mecca in N.W. lower Mich. Area public courses in the immediate area - Pinecroft golf, Champion hill, Crystal Mt. resort with 2 courses,..Interlochen golf, Mistwood w/ three- championship 9's, Chestnut Hills ' The Nut ' and Bear Lake County Highlands, both in Bear Lake. And then there is my favorite, Crystal lake G.C. Come to benzie County for spring golf. Stay-n-play pkgs available.

Actually, this was taken at Machrihanish Dunes. An amazing walk over 7 miles from start to finish over some beautiful sand dunes. Great day out with the flight over from Glasgow. Some great scenery on the way.
